2015 was a stellar year for Ripcor: Club members raised in excess of £16,000 for PACE through various rides and events.
Membership rose to 75 - a 50% increase on 2014. Some of us experienced another fantastic Alps adventure; we rode dozens of UK and European Sportives, including Ride London and Paris Roubaix; we launched our new shiny newsletter; our film won two awards at film festivals here in the UK and in the USA; we ate over 90 kilos of Loch Fyne’s finest triple fried chips, washed down with over 430 litres of Peroni. Our two club Time Trials were not only a triumph in terms of numbers of riders (each event had over 45 starters) but we managed to trounce 700CC in the team event - both times!
And, finally, in true Ripcor fashion we weren’t content with just one Christmas bash, we had to have two! An annus mirabilis indeed! (That’s not a flower that Chris Taite has inserted somewhere!).
